Sunday, September 24

Hello Church,
It is a glorious day to be a Christ-follower! God is good all the time. Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; Praise him for his mighty deeds; Praise him according to his surpassing greatness!

This is a potentially busy weekend for the church. This Saturday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. is the blanket tieing party in the fellowship hall. These blankets will go to aide people who have come through hurricane Harvey.

Sunday morning begins at 9:00 a.m. with discipleship options for all ages. Then we have worship at 10. At 2:00 p.m. at Alumni Hall on the campus of UD there is a prayer event for Freedom Sunday. This hour long event will deal with human trafficking. At 3:00 p.m. there is a book discussion down at River Lights Book Store. See this issue of fbc@home for more information. Lastly, at 6:00 are invited to hear what God is doing through Wycliffe Bible Translators and their newest missionaries, the Kidwells.

The text for this Sunday is Matthew 20:1-16.
