I want to thank everyone who signed up to accomplish a task for the work day on Saturday. You are helping the church beautify the campus. A beautiful campus honors a beautiful God. Volunteering is a beautiful thing that honors and beautiful God. If you are getting this message and this is the first time you have heard about the work day, come on out this Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and you can help too.
Saturday morning begins with a men’s breakfast at 8:00. We will slowly transition into the full work day at 9:30. If this is the first time you have heard about the breakfast, come on out. It will be fun.
Sunday is a “first” Sunday. So we will celebrate the Lord’s Table this week and also hold a “fellowship meal” after worship. This being May, means the theme of the meal is Cinco de Mayo. Mexican food will be the main course. Bring your favorite iteration and let’s feast together.
Lastly, Worship focuses on John 10:1-10 what Jesus says about himself. He ends with the statement “My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” That comes from the New Living Translation which attempts to make the scriptures readily understandable for our time. We will see how I handle this one.
Hey come out for the fellowship. Come out to honor Jesus. Come out to share in his marker meal for Christians. Come out to hear the teaching. Come out to sing songs.
See you Saturday and also Sunday!
