Sunday, March 4

Hi Church!
March comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lion! Or is it the other way? Right now it is somewhat lamb-like. I’m not complaining, just observing.
This Sunday¬†is special because we get to celebrate communion. Prepare your hearts and minds to receive the elements¬†this Sunday. Also, be prepared to give to the Fellowship Fund this week as well. You can use a pew envelope and note on it “Fellowship Fund” or just do whatever you usually do. What is the Fellowship Fund for? Funds collected are used to help out in situations where people find themselves needing help.
Following the worship service we will have the monthly fellowship meal downstairs. Bring something to share. Most important though is please plan to attend.
This week in worship we will look at 1 Corinthians 1:18-25. In this passage Paul compares and contrasts the wisdom and power of the world with the foolishness and weakness of God. Come on out and learn this important aspect of our Lord’s work.
Lastly, I want to thank the many members and friends of our church who worked tirelessly to make this year’s WTBH such a success. It was a wonderful night, and thanks to Peggy Jackson for her leadership in this yearly event.
