I am back from a week in Florida. It was unseasonably cold down there. We had to layer our clothes for the early morning and again when the sun set as well. But the trip was enjoyable. We were able to spend time with my sister and her daughter while were there.
This Sunday the focus is on John chapter 9. This intensely human story is about Jesus healing a “man who was blind from birth.” The story which should be all about joy tumbles into one of accusation. It seems that the miracle loses its primacy to collateral and somewhat insignificant realities. Come hear about the healing we all need.
On Saturday there is a craft/dinner at the church beginning at 5:00 p.m. This week is also the last official Sunday that we will be collecting for America for Christ offering. By the way, Missions & Evangelism will have a short presentation after worship about the offering.
Blessings to you!
