Dinner & Crafting
The next dinner & crafting event will be on Saturday, March 25 at 5:00 p.m. There will be a simple meal, a devotional and a crafting project. Anyone can attend and it is a great opportunity to invite some friends.

Seeking Greeters
The worship committee is looking for outgoing individuals to act as greeters. Greeters will do exactly that, greet people, as they enter our building and point out the “secret things” of our church. If you are up for the job talk to Rod Matthews/Ernest Jackson/Jim Ott/ Pastor.

America for Christ Offering 2017
American Baptist Churches USA has four main offerings each year. America for Christ is one of them. It is used to underwrite community ministries across North America and Puerto Rico. Please pray about how you would like to participate in this offering. You can use the AFC envelopes in the pew rack.

MFC Taste of the World
This annual event celebrates Dubuque’s diversity. There will be food, entertainment and activities. This is a free event that runs on Saturday, April 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Five Flags Center. This is sponsored by the Multicultural Family Center www.mfcdbq.org.

Community Conversation
These conversations are meant to provide a safe space for residents to discuss creating a community where everyone is respected, valued and treated fairly. This will be the third conversation in a series being hosted by the Inclusive Dubuque Network that will focus on the wellbeing of youth in our community, and encouraging community members to get to know their neighbors. Tuesday, March 28, 6-7:30 p.m. at Steeple Square, 1584 White Street. More information is available at www.inclusivedbq.org.

FBC Directory Up-Date
Maintaining a directory takes constant correction. We are in the midst of up-dating the directory. Would you like to be included? Would you like to have information changed? Talk to Linda Chapman as she is tasked with this important job. Mel Moss will be available to take pictures after church.

April FBC Movie Night
Movie night will be on April 14 at 6:30 p.m. The movie for April is “Risen.” Water and popcorn are free.

April Hands & Feet
We will again participate in Dubuque’s Days of Caring and will be cleaning around the Mississippi River Museum. Look for the sign-up sheet. Days of Caring is on April 28.
